Peter Silvester joined our board in April 2023. He has also served as Senior Vice President and President, Life Sciences Solutions and Laboratory Products at Thermo Fisher. Mr. Silvester has more than 20 years of service with Thermo Fisher across different geographies and operating roles, including President of Life Technologies’ Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. He started his career in biotech leading the commercial organization and global distribution network for a DNA synthesis and therapeutics company. Mr. Silvester has traveled extensively and gained international experience living and working in the United Kingdom, the U.S. and Canada, Switzerland and the West Indies. Mr. Silvester was awarded a First Class Honors Degree from the University of Hertfordshire in Applied Biology.
