Elizabeth “Betsey” Nelson has served on our board of directors since September 2019. She also serves on the board of directors for Upwork and as board chair for DAI. Ms. Nelson has over 20 years of experience in technology, internet, and telecom markets with a focus on business scalability and operations. She is an experienced public company CFO and board member with a passion for helping entrepreneurs scale their operations and build great companies. Ms. Nelson spent ten years at Macromedia where she was responsible for leading the finance and ops teams as EVP and CFO and began her career at Hewlett Packard. She previously held board seats at Nokia, Zendesk, Pandora Media, Ancestry.com, SuccessFactors, and Autodesk. Ms. Nelson received her M.B.A. in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her B.S. in foreign service magna cum laude from Georgetown University.
